The purpose of the program is to build trust, foster relationships, and provide leadership opportunities for our candidates. As our student ambassadors, you will have the opportunity to improve your leadership and communication skills, join a community of 597,000 finance professionals and expand your network, gain educational resources, improve your resumes, and add value to your accounting or finance degrees.

What your responsibilities are:

  • embody our brand identity in appearance, personality, values, and ethics representing AICPA & CIMA during job fairs and student conferences;
  • engage with peers by sharing knowledge about AICPA& CIMA and our university programs;
  • participate in social media campaigns by sharing your experiences as an accounting student and a CGMA candidate;
  • support AICPA & CIMA representatives in organizing university events and online webinars for students;
  • promote our events, webinars, scholarships, competitions and resources with peers;
  • provide support for the University Coordinator,
  • cooperate with Career Services Office and student organizations.

Our ideal Student Ambassador:

  • is a current enrolled undergraduate or graduate student at one of the following AICPA & CIMA partner universities (must);
  • participates in the CGMA University Program / CGMA Finance Leadership Program (FLP) or knows AICPA & CIMA brand and the CGMA syllabus structure (preferred);
  • is a member of other student organizations at the University;
  • is interested in management accounting and finance;
  • is an open person with excellent communication skills;
  • has a good command of English – at least B2 level;
  • is dynamic, creative and understands social media communication tools.
