Meet the exhibitors of the KUE Job Fair – Autumn 2023
The 20th edition of the event was incredibly popular among Exhibitors. Nearly 70 companies and institutions from Poland and abroad signed up for participation, and they tightly filled the stands gathered in the sports hall of the Sports and Education Pavilion at 27 Rakowicka Street. This is a record – previous editions had a maximum of 63 Exhibitors. There was no shortage of attractions – as always, representatives of the companies tried to gain the interest of visitors. A new idea at the fair was an Information Point for Foreigners. Foreigners were able to obtain numerous information in English, Polish, Russian and Ukrainian there, for example on legalization of residence, obtaining citizenship, medical care, the Polish labor market or opportunities for development.
Partners and sponsors
Sponsors, Honorary Partners, Partners
The anniversary edition of the fair was created thanks to the involvement of as many as nine partners: ABB, Alior Bank, Cisco, Hedgeserv, Hitachi Energy, Motorola Solutions, PepsiCo, Shell and UBS. Eight of them prepared and led presentations on industry topics during the event. Among the most popular speeches was, almost as usual, a lecture by ABB. This year it was titled: “Study or work? Or can they be combined?” and gathered a large number of listeners.

Job Fair programme and additional opportunities
The event was officially opened and the attendees were welcomed by Dr. Karolina Klecha-Tylec, prof. KUE, Pro Vice Chancellor for the Education and Student Affairs. Shortly after her speech, the event began in earnest, with several thousand people passing through the hall between 10 am and 4 pm.
Cv point
An obligatory highlight of each edition of the job fair is the CV Point, a special area where anyone can consult their resume. This year, visitors were able to meet with HR experts and career counselors from 11 companies and institutions, who explained to participants how to present their work experience in application documents and during interviews. A new feature at the KUE Job Fair was a CV Point booth in Ukrainian. The initiative, launched in cooperation with the Provincial Labor Office in Krakow, was dedicated mainly to KUE students who speak Ukrainian on a daily basis and prefer to consult their resumes in this language.
Erasmus+ space
Also of interest was the Erasmus+ Space zone, where students could find their dream internship abroad. Information on Erasmus+ internship opportunities was provided by Euromind and Job Trust. The companies offered internships in a total of about 30 European Union countries.
It is worth mentioning that about 60 students of our university were involved in the organization of this unique edition of the KUE Job Fair. Their help with the promotional campaign and involvement on the day of the event proved invaluable. Thank you!
The next edition of the fair, perhaps even more interesting, is scheduled for March 5th 2024 .
