In an era of real-time dashboards, Big Data and AI-generated content, we are drowning in information…but also starving for meaning. “Numbers don’t lie”, as it is often spoken, but sometimes the most responsible, logical decisions are discarded for one reason – they have not won the hearts of decision makers.

So here comes the question – is storytelling a soft-skill relic of the past, or a rediscovered tool for gaining strategic advantage? In this session we’ll take a broad look on storytelling in business world – why we lose focus looking at bullet points, how to extract stories from data, and how to bring more life to your presentations…among other things.

The meeting will be led by Maciej Król – IS People Development Specialist, has been with ABB Business Services for nearly a decade – from training administration in the HR department to managing learning programs and platforms within the IT function. Currently, his key focus is leadership development and promoting soft skills across the ABB workforce.
