Meet the exhibitors of the KUE Job Fair – Spring 2024
This year’s spring edition was attended by 62 Exhibitors from Poland and abroad. There was no shortage of attractions – as always, representatives of the companies tried to gain the interest of visitors. For the second time, the fair featured an Information Point for Foreigners. Foreigners were able to obtain numerous information in it for example on legalization of residence in Poland, obtaining citizenship, medical care, the Polish labor market or opportunities for development. Counselors provided advice in English, Polish, Russian and Ukrainian.

The spring edition of this year’s fair was created thanks to the involvement of eight partners: ABB, Alior Bank, Grammarly, Hitachi Energy, HSBC, Kion, Motorola Solutions and UBS. They prepared and led presentations on industry topics during the event. The most popular lecture was given by Hitachi Energy, entitled: Student, student – recruit with your head! Recruitment workshop with Hitachi Energy.

Job Fair programme and additional opportunities
The first visitors arrived at the fair as early as 10:00 a.m., and at 11:00 a.m. the opening ceremony and welcome to the attendees was performed by KUE’s JM Rector, Ph. Stanisław Mazur, prof. KUE. Between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., real crowds of candidates appeared in the hall, looking for jobs and internships.
Cv point
A popular zone during each edition of the job fair is CV Point, a special space where participants can consult their resumes and take part in a mock interview. This year, visitors were able to meet HR experts and career counselors from 11 companies and institutions who explained how to present their work experience in application documents. Alior Bank was the most popular company for participants in this installment , with about 40 candidates visiting. Last year’s initiative, a booth where a career counselor provided advice in Ukrainian, dedicated to students and graduates coming from across our eastern border, was continued.
Erasmus+ space
Representatives of companies gathered in the Erasmus+ Space zone, where students could find their dream internships abroad, also did not complain about lack of interest. Information on Erasmus+ internship opportunities was provided by Europe Language Jobs, Job Trust and Tenerife Job Training. Students also benefited from advice from representatives of the Academic Career Center and the Office of Foreign Programs, who informed them about the Erasmus+ program itself and how it works at our University.
Volunteers
It is worth mentioning that about 60 students of our university were involved in the organization of this unique edition of the KUE Job Fair. Their help with the promotional campaign and involvement on the day of the event proved invaluable. Thank you!
